As a biological and social phenomenon, language offers a multitude of facets. ASLAN endeavors to develop a scientific program able to account for linguistic phenomena in all of their complexity, within an integrative, multidimensional and non-reductionistic approach. ASLAN covers a broad scope of research activities based on the expertise of the laboratories DDL (Dynamique Du Langage), ICAR (Interaction, Corpus, Apprentissages, Représentations) and LIRIS Cogite division.
